This design is inspired by the awesome digging machines that we all loved as children. From a very young age I always loved digging machines like "backhoes" and "trackhoes". For me there are two things about them that connect and those are 1) the tracks and 2) the huge pistons that power the digging arm. Something about the hydraulic lines and all the pistons is just way cool on these vehicles. Most kids, especially boys and toddler boys, are crazy for excavators at a certain age.
